In October John took part in PENCIL's Principal for a Day Program and was Principal for the day at PS 87 on Manhattan's Upper West Side. John met with parents and teachers then read to a kindergarten class and a class of 4th graders.
Over the next year John will be working with the Principal on the updating of the cafeteria and the 5th graders as they study civics and government.
